Too Much Money! After Selling Beats To Apple, Dr. Dre Buys $40m Estate [See Photos]

On Wednesday the Los Angeles Times reported rapper and entrepreneur Dr Dre paid $40m for the Brentwood, California, property.

That’s $10m less than the power couple had listed it for three months ago.  According to TMZ but it was Dre – who recently closed a $3b Apple deal with Jimmy Iovine for their Beats company – who came out the winning bidder.

TMZ reported, ‘Dr. Dre fell in love with Tom Brady’s mega-mansion in L.A. – and put an offer to buy the house almost immediately after it hit the market back in March.’
